About the Role

The role involves assisting in the development of ITSM and ITAM features, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and simple Flow Designer logic. You will write basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, or AngularJS with guidance, and help build or update Scripted REST APIs, Glide scripts, and simple integrations. Supporting upgrades, patches, and basic testing, you will also troubleshoot routine issues, document fixes, and maintain data accuracy in the CMDB. • Develop ITSM and ITAM features using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer. • Write and maintain HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, or AngularJS code under guidance. • Build and update Scripted REST APIs, Glide scripts, and simple integrations. • Support platform upgrades, patches, and perform basic testing. • Troubleshoot routine issues, document fixes, and ensure CMDB data accuracy. • Create catalog items, record producers, and automate workflows. • Apply core JavaScript skills and learn Glide APIs and Flow Designer.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a ServiceNow Junior Developer to help build and maintain platform features. This role is ideal for someone with basic technical skills who wants hands‑on development experience. You’ll work with senior developers on enhancements and day‑to‑day tasks across multiple modules. Core skills include solid JavaScript knowledge for both client‑side and server‑side scripting, familiarity or willingness to learn Glide APIs, and exposure to Flow Designer or other workflow tools. A basic understanding of Scripted REST APIs, ACLs, Service Portal customization, and ITIL concepts is also expected. Awareness of CMDB structure and interest in UI customization round out the technical foundation. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, along with 2–4 years of ServiceNow or similar platform experience. A basic grasp of platform architecture, development best practices, and experience in Agile or hybrid environments is helpful. Pursuing a CSA certification, coupled with good communication skills, is desired. • Understand ACLs, Service Portal customization, and ITIL concepts. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with 2–4 years of ServiceNow experience. • Pursue or possess CSA certification and demonstrate strong communication skills.
