About the Role
• Inspect and test fire alarm and sprinkler systems, documenting deficiencies. • Ensure customers understand system functionality. • Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers. • Follow all safety regulations, Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values. • Meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications. • Safely use general hand and power tools. • Climb ladders up to 12 ft, operate man lifts, and work at heights over 40 ft. • Work in outdoor weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noise. • Frequently talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and use hands and arms.

What You Bring
New hires must complete the I‑9 verification form within three days of employment, and employment eligibility is verified via E‑Verify. Background checks and criminal record searches are required, and a urinalysis test for substance abuse is mandatory if an offer is extended. • Demonstrate openness to continual learning. • Possess mechanical skills and ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and specifications. • Experience using electronic testing devices. • Pass drug and background screenings. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Hold a valid driver’s license. • Fire alarm manufacturer certifications. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Basic understanding of IT functionality. • NICET certification. • Lift and carry at least 75 lb, push/pull heavier loads.
