About the Role
The role involves basic field work such as collecting utility location measurements, GPS data points, reviewing system maps, and producing field sketches for accurate as‑built documentation. MasTec Professional Services provides detailed training on standard survey and construction practices required for utility design projects. • Perform basic field work, including measuring utility locations, gathering GPS data, reviewing maps, and creating as‑built sketches. • Work independently, making field decisions without direct supervision and obtaining data to assess structure conditions. • Provide field support to ensure designs meet company and contract requirements and keep construction schedules on track. • Compile and submit accurate paperwork and field data for senior staff review. • Adhere to and promote company safety measures at all times. • Collect field data points using a GPS unit and operate mobile and desktop applications. • Work in and around active construction sites, coordinating with client and sub‑contractor teams. • Capture detailed and verified field data.

What You Bring
The position may require significant standing, walking on uneven ground, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating in all‑weather conditions.
