About the Role

• Build house framework, walls, roof, exterior and interior finishes • Install doors, windows, flooring, cabinets, stairs, handrails, paneling, molding, and ceiling tiles • Repair and remodel existing structures of all kinds • Select materials, plan work sequences, and measure/mark to avoid mistakes • Cut and shape materials; join with nails, screws, bolts, or glue • Check completed units for level, square, plumb, and correct dimensions

What You Bring

ATCO Structures & Logistics is hiring a registered Carpenter Journeyman/Apprentice (4th year Carpenter) for our Calgary Manufacturing Plant. Reporting to the Lead Head, the Carpenter Apprentice assists in constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing wood, plywood, and wallboard structures in compliance with local building codes. This position is union‑based and located in Rocky View County, AB. • Read and interpret drawings • Work accurately and economically while following building codes • Actively registered 4th‑year Apprentice Carpenter or Journeyperson • Prior experience with modular units is an asset • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and handle building materials • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
