About the Role

The engineer will engage in Scrum meetings, lead architectural reviews, and translate business requirements into ServiceNow solutions. What You Bring

Equinix is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in ServiceNow, particularly in implementing ITOM, CMDB, and ITSM capabilities. The role requires strong technical platform skills, functional knowledge of Customer Service, Asset Management, and Service Management, and the ability to design and deliver major ServiceNow solutions. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field and bring at least ten years of industry experience, with a minimum of five years focused on ServiceNow, including CMDB implementation. Proven hands‑on experience delivering ServiceNow solutions and certifications such as ServiceNow System Administrator are essential. Key technical skills include advanced knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, CMDB, Discovery, UI Actions, scripting, workflows, and integration tools like MID Server and REST/SOAP APIs. Experience with ITSM processes, Event Management, Customer Service Management, AngularJS, JavaScript, and client‑side scripting is required, while UI customization, Service Portal development, and external integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, TIBCO) are considered advantageous. • Hold a BS/MS in Computer Science or related field • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years on ServiceNow, including CMDB • Advanced expertise in ServiceNow platform, CMDB, Discovery, UI Actions, and scripting • Proficient with integration tools: MID Server, SOAP/REST, IntegrationHub spokes • Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, Event Management, and Customer Service Management • Skilled in AngularJS, JavaScript, and client‑side scripting within ServiceNow • Experience customizing UI (UI Pages, UI Macros, CSS, HTML, Jelly) and Service Portal • ServiceNow System Administrator and ITOM Implementation certifications preferred • Knowledge of external integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, TIBCO) and data analytics
