About the Role
Under general direction, the electrician performs installation and maintenance of high and low voltage electrical equipment, signal systems, overhead power lines, electric motors, generators, and electronic controls. Duties include measuring, cutting, marking, laying out, and bending conductors, as well as fabricating material for items such as starter frames. Additional responsibilities involve general shop work and ensuring equipment operates reliably. • Supervise one or two electricians/apprentices and train apprentices as needed. • Perform major electrical construction on diverse plant equipment and controls, including power line erection, blueprint reading, conduit layout, and use of hand and testing tools; inspect and determine repairs to prevent breakdowns. • Operate power saw, flame‑cutting torch, electric/acetylene welding equipment, and pipe‑threading machine; use additional machinery as required. • Assist maintenance personnel with various maintenance and construction tasks. • Support foreman in maintaining safety and good housekeeping practices. • Supervise one or two instrument repairmen/helpers and train apprentices as required.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician license, has at least one year of manufacturing experience, and possesses a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must be able to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.
