About the Role
The Project Manager will supervise purchasing, budgeting, work order preparation, long‑lead item procurement, and integration of technical requirements into the build strategy. They will also manage schedule and material reporting, change orders, documentation control, and mentor direct and indirect reports. • Supervise material and subcontract requisitions, review vendor quotes, approve purchase orders, and ensure schedule compliance. • Oversee budget and schedule preparation, work order creation, procurement of long‑lead items, and integration of technical requirements. • Maintain consolidated project cost and schedule reports, liaise with client on issues, and prepare change orders and turnover documentation. • Lead and mentor direct and indirect reports, handling performance management and discipline when necessary. • Control all project documentation, including client files, internal records, drawings, specifications, and regulatory submissions.

What You Bring
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial mechanical and construction projects in northeast Alberta and the Edmonton area. The role reports to the Project Director and oversees contractual planning, procurement, design, cost management, schedule adherence, and client liaison. Candidates should have at least seven years of progressive experience on industrial construction projects in Western Canada, with engineering, CET, PMP, or P.Eng credentials viewed as assets. Strong customer‑service orientation, conflict‑resolution, negotiation, and proficiency with Gmail/Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and Primavera are essential, along with a valid driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Canada. • Minimum 7 + years experience on industrial construction projects in Western Canada; engineering degree, CET, PMP, or P.Eng are assets. • Proficient in production scheduling, labour budgeting, Gmail/Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and Primavera. • Strong customer‑service mindset, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and clear verbal/written communication. • Valid driver’s licence with clean abstract, legal eligibility to work in Canada, Edmonton residency, and ability to pass pre‑employment drug/alcohol test. • Willingness to work onsite, travel as required, and hold H2S and First Aid certifications for field assignments.
