About the Role
In this role you will lead the CMD CoE for multiple global units, guaranteeing high‑performance, SLA‑driven delivery. You will build and mature the operating model, governance framework, and performance metrics while driving continuous improvement, standardization, and global alignment of master‑data processes. You will ensure adherence to global SOPs, validation rules, naming conventions, tax compliance, and duplicate‑management principles. Ownership of the customer lifecycle—from creation through maintenance to inactivation/retirement—and leadership of risk‑mitigation initiatives, audit support, and compliance alignment with finance and compliance teams are key responsibilities. Automation and digital enablement are central to the role, leveraging SAP scripts, RPA, Power Automate, and default‑field population logic to move toward touchless customer creation with First Time Right targets and a 95% data‑quality goal. Collaboration with CRM IT, MDM, Global IT, and digital teams will produce tools, dashboards, and data‑quality platforms. Stakeholder collaboration involves engaging frontline controllers, sales, finance, compliance, global MDM, and cross‑functional KBS teams. You will run workshops, training sessions, governance reviews, and capability‑building programs across regions, addressing pain points proactively and providing insights for continuous business improvement. • Lead the global Customer Master Data CoE across 30–40 countries, ensuring SLA‑driven performance. • Build and mature the CMD operating model, governance framework, and performance metrics. • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and alignment of master‑data processes worldwide. • Ensure compliance with SOPs, validation rules, tax regulations, and duplicate‑management practices. • Implement automation using SAP scripts, RPA, and Power Automate to achieve touchless customer creation with ≥95% data quality. • Partner with CRM IT, MDM, and Global IT to develop dashboards and data‑quality platforms. • Conduct workshops, training, and governance reviews to build stakeholder capability across regions. • Lead transition waves, manage knowledge transfer, and harmonize processes during CoE expansion. • Apply 6–12 years of Master Data Management expertise, SAP CMD, and automation tools in a global shared‑services environment.

What You Bring
You must have strong expertise in SAP Customer Master Data, MDM governance, lifecycle management, and validation frameworks, plus experience with automation tools, quality controls, and data dashboards. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑cultural collaboration skills are required, as is a structured, detail‑oriented mindset and 6–12 years of experience in master data management or shared‑services environments. • Own end‑to‑end customer lifecycle management from creation to retirement.
