About the Role

The Assembler is responsible for the production of all types of voltage regulators in a continuous‑flow environment to meet agreed‑upon customer service requirements. The role requires performing various job functions with acceptable efficiency and quality. Operators must be willing to assist team members as needed to maintain production flow. You will learn and work on multiple assembly stages, from strip leads to final vacuum pumps, painting, brazing, and more. Duties include following standard work and 5S, performing visual inspections, constructing and testing tap changers, and building products using calibrated pneumatic, power, and hand tools. You will coordinate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure products are completed and shipped on time, conduct ratio testing, troubleshoot, and repair units as needed. Additional tasks involve moving units with overhead cranes, participating in teardown and modification of customer‑supplied equipment, and cross‑training across stations in the Regulators department. • Produce all types of voltage regulators in a continuous‑flow environment. • Follow standard work, 5S, and perform visual inspections of prior operations. • Build and test tap changers and other products using calibrated tools per work instructions. • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure timely completion and shipment. • Conduct ratio testing, troubleshoot issues, and repair defective units. • Operate overhead cranes and industrial vehicles to move units. • Participate in teardown, repair, and modification of customer‑supplied equipment. • Cross‑train on multiple stations within the Regulators department.

What You Bring

Candidates need a minimum of six months of assembly, manufacturing, or military experience and a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Applicants must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work location, though active‑duty military members are exempt from this restriction. The role requires the ability to work overtime, lift up to 50 lb, and perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, and reaching. No relocation benefit is provided for this position. • Require minimum 6 months assembly/manufacturing or military experience and a high school diploma/GED. • Must be able to lift 50 lb, work overtime, and perform physical tasks; candidates within 50 mi (military exempt).
