About the Role

Matterport is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to provide critical support to the sales organization on complex, non‑standard deal structures. The analyst will work closely with sales, legal, revenue, and other cross‑functional teams to shape commercial terms and ensure smooth deal execution. This individual contributor role serves as a trusted liaison between field sales and internal stakeholders. In this role, the analyst will manage deal structuring, quoting, pricing, special terms, and audit processes while handling exception approvals. Regular participation in pipeline reviews and forecast calls will help anticipate sales needs and act as an escalation point to accelerate closures. Collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Billing, Engineering, InfoSec, and Legal will be essential to prepare and approve non‑standard deal elements. • Manage deal structuring, quoting, pricing, special terms, audit deals, and exception approvals. • Anticipate sales needs via pipeline reviews and serve as escalation point to increase deal velocity. • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Billing, Engineering, InfoSec, and Legal to prepare approval requests for non‑standard deals. • Document, communicate, and enforce pricing, discounting, and deal policies. • Guide regional sales leadership on structuring deals to maximize ARR. • Review and approve complex quotes and sales orders according to policy and accounting guidance. • Drive automation opportunities in Salesforce CPQ within the quote‑to‑cash cycle.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least two years of experience in order management, deal desk, finance, contracts, sales operations, or a related revenue function, and be familiar with Salesforce or other CRM/CPQ tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, organizational, and analytical abilities are required, along with a proven track record of delivering accurate and timely work. Proficiency with reporting and presentation tools such as Looker and Google Docs, and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, are also expected. Preferred candidates bring experience in the software or SaaS industry and have navigated non‑standard enterprise deal processes, though these are not mandatory. A demonstrated commitment to previous employers further strengthens an application. • 2+ years experience in order management, deal desk, finance, contracts, sales operations, or revenue roles. • Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM/CPQ tools. • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, organizational, and analytical skills. • Proven ability to deliver accurate, timely, high‑quality work and identify improvement opportunities. • Experience with reporting and presentation tools such as Looker and Google Docs. • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. • Software/SaaS industry experience desired (optional). • Experience navigating non‑standard enterprise deal processes desired (optional).
