About the Role
• Identify, quantify and present complex process optimization opportunities to customers. • Develop technical proposals for LNG, fertilizers, gas processing, refining and olefins. • Lead delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of Cordant solutions. • Advise product team on industry use cases and feature development as a subject‑matter expert. • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists and customers to drive AI/ML‑based optimization adoption. • Work with global pre‑sales and regional sales to create opportunities for the Cordant platform and APM solutions. • Monitor industry technology trends and share insights with engineering and services teams. • Coach and mentor subject‑matter experts worldwide. • Promote safety, compliance, quality and EHS culture.

What You Bring
Baker Hughes is hiring a Solution Architect – Process Optimization to lead technical pre‑sales and implementation of its Cordant Process Optimization solution. The role requires an industry expert with extensive experience in advanced process control and real‑time optimization for process plants, leveraging both domain knowledge and advanced machine‑learning techniques to extend product offerings across varied industrial processes. • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. • At least 10 years of experience delivering Advanced Process Control or optimization solutions. • Strong background in data‑driven/ML optimization models. • Proven track record leading APC or optimization projects on complex industrial processes. • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer‑engagement skills. • Business acumen to influence senior‑level investment decisions. • Hands‑on experience working in operating plants or similar environments. • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executive stakeholders. • Expert knowledge of APC and optimization methodologies. • Understanding of plant data‑driven modeling/analytics and its limitations. • Experience with complex processes such as LNG, cryogenics, syngas, fertilizers, gas processing, refining and olefins.
