About the Role

In this position the specialist serves as the primary liaison with US Bank, oversees vendor recruitment and enrollment, processes daily payment files, monitors fulfillment rates, resolves payment issues, maintains system data, and provides spend reporting to management. The role also includes reconciling GL clearing accounts, handling manual and joint‑venture payments, and supporting backup functions such as vendor maintenance and daily cash‑requirement processing, as well as participating in special projects. • Manage vendor credit‑card payment program and maximize rebates. • Serve as primary contact for US Bank relationship manager. • Monitor vendor recruitment, enrollment, and payment fulfillment rates. • Process daily payment files and manual credit‑card payments to vendors. • Research and resolve vendor payment issues. • Maintain system data and generate spend reporting for management. • Reconcile GL clearing accounts for corporate and single‑use cards bi‑weekly. • Initiate and process joint‑venture reimbursement payments monthly. • Process monthly payments to US Bank for all credit cards. • Manage email correspondence related to payments. • Provide backup for vendor maintenance, stop/void payments, and daily cash‑requirement processing. • Assist with special projects and cross‑train on utility payables processes.

What You Bring

Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field (or equivalent experience), at least three years of accounting or accounts‑payable experience, strong customer‑service skills, and intermediate proficiency with JD Edwards, Yardi, Nexus Systems, and Office 365. They should possess solid analytical, math, and problem‑solving abilities, as well as knowledge of property‑management accounting processes. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field (or 7+ years experience in lieu of degree). • Minimum three years of accounting or accounts‑payable experience. • Proven customer‑service experience (internal or external). • Intermediate proficiency with JD Edwards, Yardi, Nexus Systems, and Office 365. • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. • General knowledge of property‑management accounting systems and AP processes. • High professionalism and integrity. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management. • Excellent verbal and written communication, even under tight deadlines. • Customer‑focused, persistent, and able to work independently or in a team. • Self‑motivated in a dynamic, multitasking environment.
