About the Role
• Design and develop high‑performance web applications used by thousands of users globally • Influence CI/CD pipeline improvements • Collaborate closely with other software engineers across the organization • Mentor junior developers, review code and architecture, and promote best practices • Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices • Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of the CRE industry and CoStar’s business model • Active role in mentoring developers and building consensus

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university or college • Track record of commitment to prior employers • 6+ years of production development experience in modern technologies (e.g., React, Vue, TypeScript, NodeJS, C#, .Net, OpenSearch, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL) • Demonstrated success building and launching products and platforms • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and managed services • Experience in Agile/Scrum processes and continuous delivery practices • Proficiency in unit, performance, and automation testing • Deep understanding of business drivers for the software being built • Experience managing a large enterprise‑level code base, code quality, and dependencies • Experience with C#, NodeJS, and/or React in particular • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
