About the Role
The Test Technician plays a critical role in supporting qualification and acceptance testing of components and systems for aerospace, defense, and other high‑reliability industries. This position is responsible for setting up, executing, monitoring, and documenting environmental tests in line with established procedures, customer requirements, and applicable military and aerospace standards. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically capable, and thrives in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment. Salary ranges from $25‑30 per hour, dependent on experience, with night shift hours of 10 pm to 6 am. The technician will operate thermal chamber controllers, configure data acquisition systems, and maintain detailed test logs while ensuring all activities meet military, aerospace, and customer compliance standards. They will also identify and report any test anomalies, keep the test environment clean and safe, and contribute to continuous improvement by sharing technical knowledge. Additional duties may be assigned to support operational and business needs. • Set up and execute environmental tests following approved procedures. • Program thermal chamber controllers to achieve defined test profiles. • Configure and operate data acquisition systems for reliable test data capture. • Monitor tests, maintain detailed log sheets, and record results. • Ensure compliance with military, aerospace, and customer standards. • Identify, document, and communicate test anomalies to engineering and management. • Keep the test environment clean, safe, and organized. • Share technical knowledge and best practices to support continuous improvement. • Collaborate effectively, mentor others, and assist with task delegation.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least two years of hands‑on environmental testing experience and a strong grasp of military and aerospace compliance standards. Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational and analytical abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. The role demands independent work, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure, along with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset. • Possess at least two years of hands‑on environmental testing experience. • Understand military and aerospace compliance requirements. • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication for clear technical documentation. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Exhibit strong organizational, analytical, and detail‑oriented skills. • Work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting. • Maintain a positive, proactive problem‑solving attitude. • Be U.S. citizen, eligible to work without sponsorship, and pass background, drug, and DMV checks. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree preferred.
