About the Role
Job Overview: Our Connector Business Unit in Olive Branch, MS is looking for a Production Supervisor who will oversee 2nd Shift (2-10:30pm) production processes as well as supervise hourly employees while pursuing continuous improvement in areas such as productivity increases, improving efficiency while minimizing cost. • Direct supervisor for Machinists and Machine Operators in assigned area. • Assign daily tasks and activities for the machine shop. • Ensure direct reports are trained and up‑to‑date in required processes and tasks. • Maintain a cross‑training matrix for direct reports and address training gaps. • Manage talent of direct reports, develop performance objectives, and conduct reviews. • Drive toward zero safety incidents and promote a safety‑first culture. • Drive toward zero quality issues in the assigned area. • Actively manage environmental, health, and safety compliance and risk in assembly areas. • Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities in the Machine Shop.

What You Bring
• Basic understanding of blueprints, calipers, and typical machine shop procedures, processes, and tools preferred. • General computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office tools. • Strong organizational skills along with excellent written and oral communication. • Two years of experience operating and/or programming CNC mills and lathes.
