About the Role

• Build and review financial models to support investment and development decisions. • Conduct market research and property‑level analysis under senior guidance. • Shadow due‑diligence activities such as lease reviews and feasibility assessments. • Prepare presentation materials and reports summarizing market insights and project updates. • Observe valuation and underwriting processes across residential, commercial, and industrial assets. • Participate in team meetings with legal, finance, and third‑party consultants to learn transaction workflows. • Track market trends and contribute to internal data mapping and research efforts. • Assist in monitoring business plans and asset performance with asset‑management teams. • Contribute insights during acquisition and development strategy discussions. • Manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines with attention to detail.

Benefits

The Transwestern Trailblazer Internship Program offers an 8‑week, full‑time, in‑person summer internship split between four weeks in Dallas with TIG and four weeks in Houston with TDC. Designed for rising seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field, the program provides hands‑on experience across the full lifecycle of real‑estate transactions, including investment analysis, development strategy, and asset management. While relocation costs are not covered, housing support is provided for the alternate‑location portion, and high‑performing interns may be considered for full‑time conversion.
