What You Bring

We are seeking Intern Engineers for bridge‑design opportunities in our New York City office for Summer 2026. The role involves assisting assigned departments or projects by performing basic engineering tasks that reflect a standard post‑secondary engineering curriculum. Relocation and housing are not provided. Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma or GED and be currently enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary engineering program. Enrollment in a civil engineering curriculum is preferred. A basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Interns should be able to perform simple calculations, organize information for drawings, and follow introductory shop‑drawing and submittal procedures. Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation and a strong interest in transportation infrastructure are advantageous. • Apply fundamental geometric and algebraic principles; proficient in Microsoft Office. • Meet enrollment requirements in an accredited engineering program and possess a high‑school diploma/GED. • Preferred: two years of civil engineering coursework and experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Benefits

The position is based in New York, NY, with an estimated pay range of $21.07–$39.50 per hour, subject to qualifications, experience, and location within the state.
