About the Role

The Quality Administrator reports to the site Quality Manager (or Sr. Quality Field Operations Manager) and indirectly to the Sr. Manager of Quality Control. The role is responsible for gathering and managing all documentation that demonstrates compliance with project specifications, including material traceability and inspection requirements. The position requires a thorough understanding of construction documentation turnover and involves up to 100 % travel, with the primary work site located in Boise, Idaho. The Quality Administrator compiles digital records throughout the project, updates isometric drawings with relevant symbols and identifiers, and ensures inspection records are traceable to field locations. Responsibilities also include reviewing documentation for accuracy, matching NDE and material test records to welding and traceability files, maintaining quality and inspection logs, and conducting regular audits to verify compliance. The role requires coaching personnel on documentation completeness and organizing both digital and paper records for project turnover.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least one year of QA/QC experience (or equivalent engineering/technical education) and a minimum of three years in a construction environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, and construction management software is essential, along with familiarity with P&IDs, weld and flange mapping, and traceability requirements on industrial or oil‑and‑gas projects. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication are also required. The position demands physical stamina for repetitive tasks, the ability to work in changing weather and site conditions, and compliance with personal protective equipment requirements. Employees must be capable of navigating confined, cluttered, and uneven areas, working at heights, and maintaining focus while reviewing detailed documentation. Good visual and auditory acuity, as well as coordination of eyes, hands, and feet, are necessary for the role. • Minimum of 1 year experience in QA/QC (or engineering/technical education) • Minimum of 3 years experience in a construction environment • Experience with P&IDs and system breakdowns for turnover packages • Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint) • Prior experience with weld mapping, flange mapping, and traceability on industrial or oil & gas projects • Demonstrated experience with construction management software platforms • Proven capability with Bluebeam Revu (required) • Preferred experience with Smartsheet and InEight software • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations • General understanding of construction inspection requirements in industrial projects • Familiarity with various drawings, plans, and details • Ability to read and interpret NDE reports, weld maps, MTRs, torque reports, concrete and civil inspection reports • Exceptional organizational skills for presenting work digitally and physically • Knowledge of document management processes and procedures • Ability to focus on minor details when assembling turnover records • Ability to maintain focus for extended periods reviewing documentation accuracy • Capability to read and understand material requirements on MTRs and BOMs • Familiarity with reading and interpreting isometric drawings • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Stamina to perform repetitive tasks for several hour intervals • Ability to work in uncontrolled environmental conditions and varying weather • Exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, noise, and other site elements • Requirement to wear appropriate personal protective equipment • Ability to move in confined, cluttered, and uneven areas • Ability to work at heights and follow fall‑protection requirements • Skill in evaluating information against measurable standards and recognizing detailed differences • Ability to visualize objects in three dimensions from drawings • Good balance and coordination of eyes, hands, and feet
