About the Role

This role typically works 8:30 am – 6 pm Central Time, but the employee must be able to cover any 9‑hour shift between 3:30 am – 7 pm CT. Saturdays are rotated for on‑call emergencies from 4 am – 2 pm. The Dispatcher Supervisor oversees daily dispatch operations and tracking, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and meet performance standards. Key responsibilities include managing live dispatch, GPS and MAS data entry, coordinating service‑order resolutions, and handling customer service issues. The supervisor also supervises paperwork processing such as billing backlog, enforces company policies, conducts safety briefings, and oversees container tracking, placement, and driver safety. Additional duties involve compiling maintenance reports, scheduling staff, monitoring performance, arranging training, and providing coaching, evaluation, and input on termination, compensation, and promotion decisions. • Oversee daily dispatch operations, productivity, and quality goals. • Coordinate resolution of service orders and address customer service issues. • Manage live dispatch, GPS, and MAS data input. • Supervise processing of paperwork, including billing backlog. • Enforce company policies and conduct safety briefings. • Track containers, placement, and driver safety. • Compile and analyze maintenance reports. • Schedule staff, monitor performance, and arrange training as needed. • Coach, train, and evaluate employees; advise on termination, compensation, and promotions.
