About the Role

The role involves coordinating on‑site construction engineering activities to meet project time and budget objectives. The position requires overseeing engineering work, managing budgets and reports, monitoring progress, interpreting designs, and ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative requirements. • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities per plans and specifications. • Prepare site construction budgets and reports. • Monitor construction progress against programme and report to Site Manager/Project Manager. • Interpret designs for implementation and contribute to design improvements. • Arrange and oversee tendering processes. • Assign work, review accuracy, and ensure compliance with standards. • Execute contractual and legislative requirements. • Conduct safety, environmental and quality risk assessments. • Manage document control and project performance reporting. • Supervise subcontractors to achieve desired outcomes. • Utilize effective time management and sequencing of work. • Delivery of minor projects within program and budget.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or a related discipline, a Diploma of Project Management, and possess Chartered Engineer status. They should have 5‑10 years of post‑graduate experience (including 3+ years site‑based), tier 1/2 infrastructure project exposure, and strong knowledge of project management structures, design, safety, quality and environmental plans. • Apply financial management and commercial acumen in decision‑making. • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or related field. • Diploma of Project Management in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction or equivalent. • Chartered Engineer status. • 5–10 years post‑graduate experience, including 3+ years site‑based. • Tier 1/2 infrastructure project experience. • Knowledge of project management structures, specifications, and standards. • Understanding of design, quality, safety and environmental management plans. • Pre‑contract design, planning and legislative expertise. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Primavera P6. • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
