About the Role
The Quality Control Manager ensures that each project adheres to contract documents, owner requirements, and all applicable local, state, and federal building codes while coordinating with trades and processing daily progress reports. Key duties include partnering with the project team to interpret specifications, collaborating with owners, designers, and contractors to maintain quality and timeliness, and implementing the three‑phase Quality Control Plan along with overseeing submittal reviews, inspections, and third‑party testing. The role also involves managing deficiency logs, punch lists, and project closeout deliverables, leading quality control meetings, building a transparent team culture, and driving staff training, development, and recruitment of top talent. • Implement and manage the three‑phase Quality Control Plan. • Oversee submittal review, approval, and inspection processes. • Coordinate third‑party testing agents and maintain deficiency logs. • Lead preparatory, initial, and follow‑up quality control meetings. • Build and mentor a transparent, high‑performing quality control team. • Recruit, hire, and retain top industry talent for the organization. • Ensure compliance with all building codes and Clark safety policies. • Develop and manage Quality Control Plans for large‑scale construction projects. • Handle a high volume of submittals and RFIs efficiently.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree in construction or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) and possess 5–8+ years of verifiable construction quality control or inspection experience, with a proven ability to develop QC plans and handle large volumes of submittals and RFIs. This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent site navigation on uneven terrain, lifting up to 50 lb, and the ability to read plans and inspect work, while also accommodating desk‑based tasks such as document review and meetings. The environment is high‑performance and fast‑paced, demanding flexibility for extended hours during critical phases, responsiveness to urgent communications, and strict adherence to Clark Construction’s safety policies and drug‑free workplace standards. • Maintain physical ability to work on active sites, lift up to 50 lb, and read plans accurately.

Benefits
