About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to functionally direct the Clean Energy Center (CEC) operations training groups, serving as the subject‑matter expert and managing the development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of discipline‑related training programs. Key duties include developing, scheduling, and delivering performance‑based training using Constellation’s Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), counseling trainees and creating individualized programs, ensuring training content reflects INPO, NRC, and internal updates, participating in audits, supporting business initiatives, project management, refuel outages, emergency preparedness, and coordinating instructors. Additional responsibilities cover emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage support as assigned. • Direct and oversee CEC operations training groups as subject‑matter expert. • Design, develop, schedule, and deliver performance‑based training using the SAT model. • Counsel trainees, evaluate results, and create individualized training plans. • Update training programs with INPO, NRC, regulatory, and internal changes. • Participate in NRC and INPO audits and respond to findings. • Support business initiatives, project management, refuel outage activities, and emergency preparedness. • Coordinate and mentor instructors, ensuring effective SAT implementation. • Provide emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support as needed.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications require a current or previous SRO license or SRO certification with six years of related power‑plant experience, plus at least two years of training or education experience, meeting ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards and access/medical requirements. Preferred qualifications include prior Operations Instructor and Simulator Instructor credentials, and experience with training self‑assessments and the INPO Continuum process. • Required: current or prior SRO license or certification with 6 years related plant experience and 2 years training/education experience. • Preferred: Operations Instructor and Simulator Instructor qualifications; experience with training self‑assessments and INPO Continuum.
