About the Role
The Assistant Property Manager II supports property operations, financial management, and resident services, ensuring compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and fair‑housing regulations. This role helps maintain smooth operations, meet occupancy goals, and enhance resident satisfaction while offering professional development opportunities. • Assist Property Manager with HUD, LIHTC, and fair‑housing compliance. • Maintain accurate waiting lists, resident files, and required documentation. • Support leasing, marketing, and resident retention to achieve occupancy targets. • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely invoice payment. • Serve as primary contact for residents, owners, community partners, and staff, resolving issues promptly. • Assume leadership duties in the Property Manager’s absence. • Assist with reporting, inspections, and property audits to uphold quality standards.

What You Bring
• Require high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of office, customer service, sales, or property‑management support experience. • Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with attention to detail. • Knowledge of fair‑housing laws and ability to apply them in operations. • Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and general computer/tablet software. • Ability to travel flexibly and maintain valid liability/property insurance when using a personal vehicle.
