About the Role

Interns will regularly use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality‑check deliverables, and will contribute to pre‑construction activities on structural projects such as bridges and retaining walls. They will prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates, solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines while gaining familiarity with relevant regulations and company standards. • Use technical software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, OpenRoads, Synchro, GIS) to analyze, produce, and quality‑check deliverables. • Contribute to pre‑construction on structural projects such as bridges and retaining walls. • Prepare bridge and structural plans, specifications, and cost estimates for clients. • Solve complex engineering problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines. • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
