About the Role

• Complete daily work orders efficiently. • Notify supervisor of any work order delays. • Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry issues. • Assist with scheduling and conducting apartment inspections. • Coordinate turnover repairs with office team to stay on schedule. • Maintain accurate preventative maintenance records and supplier knowledge. • Stay current with building codes and safety standards. • Maintain trash areas. • Follow OSHA standards for water/gas meter cut‑offs and sewer clean‑outs. • Respond to after‑hours emergency calls per company policy. • Assist with snow removal during events. • Apply solution‑based problem solving. • Organize tasks, manage time, and prioritize projects.

What You Bring

Are you an experienced Maintenance Superintendent ready to join our fantastic team of professionals? MMS Group is on the hunt for someone like YOU! Our Maintenance Superintendents handle all aspects of residential property maintenance, including interior and exterior building inspections and the preventive maintenance program. Also, you will be responsible for common area and apartment repairs, covering plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. • Work independently with minimal direction. • Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms. • Minimum five years residential multifamily maintenance experience. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Skilled in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance maintenance, masonry, HVAC, and boilers. • Valid driver’s license. • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Hold fire safety and boiler licenses. • Possess basic tools for routine maintenance. • Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing.
