About the Role
• Prepare feeder, service, short‑circuit, and transformer size calculations. • Design building electrical distribution, fire alarm, and security systems. • Conduct on‑site surveys of existing electrical equipment. • Determine project schedules and details; review with project engineer. • Attend job meetings and ensure interdisciplinary information flow. • Assist in writing reports, feasibility studies, and developing electrical standards. • Prepare cost estimates and specifications.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates have 7‑10 years of experience designing electrical power distribution, fire alarm, lighting and controls, with knowledge of short‑circuit, arc‑flash coordination, photometric calculations, and applicable codes. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; PE or EIT, LEED accreditation, and commercial or healthcare facility background are preferred. Proficiency with Revit and at least one year of formal design use is also desired. • 7–10 years designing electrical power distribution, fire alarm, lighting, and controls. • Experience with short‑circuit, arc‑flash coordination, interior/exterior lighting and photometric calculations. • Background in commercial and healthcare facilities preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. • PE or EIT certification preferred. • LEED accreditation preferred. • Proficiency in Revit with at least 1 year formal design use.
