About the Role
In the role of Software Engineer for JLL Asset Beacon you will be a key technical contributor developing innovative solutions for commercial real estate asset management. Working within a collaborative engineering team you will deliver full‑stack features, integrate AI‑driven capabilities and translate business requirements into actionable insights for real‑estate professionals. You will partner with product managers, data engineers and globally distributed teams to enhance both frontend and backend components. • Plan, execute and deliver full‑stack features • Conduct regular code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members • Foster a collaborative, innovative culture across the team • Communicate technical constraints, opportunities, and progress to non‑technical stakeholders • Coordinate closely with the product team to understand requirements and deliver solutions • Develop frontend using VueJS and SASS/CSS • Build backend services with Python, Django, and FastAPI • Implement data persistence via SQL with ORM integration • Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitHub Actions for DevOps • Integrate AI capabilities using Cursor, OpenAI Agents SDK, and large language models

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree, preferably in Computer Science, and has at least three years of software engineering experience with strong full‑stack and SQL expertise. Proficiency with a major frontend framework such as Vue, React or Angular and solid communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences are required. A forward‑looking vision for AI‑enabled software and an interest in AI development practices are essential, and the position is on‑site in Bristol, United Kingdom. • Hold a STEM degree, preferably in Computer Science • Minimum three years of software engineering experience with full‑stack development and SQL
