About the Role
• Start, monitor, and regulate plant processing equipment per safety standards • Adjust equipment programming to maximize production • Generate work requests using the maintenance planning system • Maintain daily production reports and share information with the team • Monitor and maintain load‑out area; operate mobile equipment as needed • Operate additional mobile and plant equipment (e.g., skid steer, loader) safely • Conduct pre‑shift equipment inspections and complete required paperwork • Assist with plant equipment operation and repairs • Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas • Help train co‑workers as required

What You Bring
Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety‑conscious, dependable, and motivated, and will be responsible for safely and efficiently starting and regulating plant processing equipment. The Plant Operator will run and monitor plant operations from a centralized location under the direction of the Plant Manager and Foreman. Hours are 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, including weekends and overtime as necessary. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, and experience in the building materials industry is preferred.
