About the Role

• Prepare project submittals and maintain record documents. • Review contract plans and specifications technically. • Oversee and document project quality control per contract and company policies. • Produce daily construction reports and track progress. • Perform site surveying, interpret data, and manage subcontractors. • Assist with procurement or rental of equipment and materials. • Support Project Manager with daily cost reporting and tracking. • Travel to project sites for extended periods as needed. • Assist in developing cost estimates, proposals, and material take‑offs. • Analyze remediation methodologies of previously remediated projects. • Perform additional administrative duties and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. • Utilize Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel for project tasks. • Complete special assignments and projects as directed.

What You Bring

The Project Engineer Intern will apply knowledge of physical sciences, mathematics, and specialized engineering concepts such as soil mechanics, hydraulics, structural theory, and surveying to support project execution within budget, schedule, and specifications, while upholding the company’s safety culture. The role combines field and office duties, requiring frequent computer use, communication, and the ability to work on‑site under varying conditions, including exposure to heavy equipment and environmental elements. • Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent. • Hold a valid driver’s license and can drive for company business. • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and USACE QCS System. • Experience in site surveying (conventional and GPS). • Ability to develop cost estimates and proposals. • Prior project experience with in‑situ stabilization and materials procurement. • Self‑motivated, eager to learn all aspects of environmental and geotechnical construction. • Strong problem‑solving and risk‑assessment skills, prioritizing safety and quality. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
