About the Role
As a Project Manager within the Specialist Projects team you will manage multiple complex assignments, deliver services within agreed timeframes and oversee resource planning to provide professional consultancy to a broad client base. You will work both autonomously and collaboratively, delivering best‑in‑class services on technically complex mechanical, electrical and process projects. • Develop Project Management Plans and stakeholder communication strategies. • Create master programmes, identify milestones and team responsibilities. • Review construction programmes and approve enhancements. • Liaise with stakeholders to define requirements and develop the brief. • Lead project meetings with team members and stakeholder groups. • Produce correspondence that clearly defines actions and deadlines. • Prepare and issue Request for Proposals and appointment documents. • Draft tender documents that fully reflect project requirements. • Review tender submissions for technical compliance and cost. • Negotiate with contractors to secure best‑value pricing. • Review design packages for brief compliance. • Facilitate value‑engineering and risk workshops. • Track risk mitigation actions and value‑engineering opportunities. • Assess contractor delay claims and work with commercial team on entitlement. • Report on contractor progress and commercial matters. • Inspect on‑site quality and issue defect rectification instructions. • Manage design team to meet contract requirements. • Coordinate responses to technical queries and RFIs. • Select, recommend, prepare and administer construction contracts. • Ensure adherence to document management and communication protocols, using T&A’s DMS. • Conduct quantity surveying activities including cost estimation, tendering, change control and final accounts. • Identify and appoint sub‑consultants, protecting T&A from risk exposure. • Review and approve work of sub‑consultants and project team members. • Deliver professional services as directed by senior staff. • Participate in professional development and training to enhance knowledge. • Contribute to and maintain organisational culture. • Mentor junior staff. • Support business development and networking activities. • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.

What You Bring
