Experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable, and familiarity with Power BI, Python, or Spark is a plus. Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills are required. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline is expected. The role demands solid knowledge of data‑modeling techniques, including designing star and snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling, and data‑governance practices such as master data and metadata management. The engineer will write complex SQL queries, validate data integrity, and transform raw data for dimensional models. Understanding of Azure security and cost‑management is essential.
