About the Role

The Field Services Technician I in Reading, PA supports the accurate and timely movement of environmental samples by performing pick‑ups, deliveries, basic field sampling activities, and in‑house sample triage, ensuring sample integrity, regulatory compliance, and smooth coordination between field operations and laboratory teams. • Pick up and deliver environmental samples on assigned routes, maintaining custody and integrity. • Perform basic field sampling, including pH and chlorine testing, and complete chain‑of‑custody documentation. • Conduct in‑house sample triage: verify containers, preserve, label, and document samples. • Prepare and replenish sample kits, coolers, and field supplies. • Enter route, sample, and activity data into applicable systems or mobile applications. • Interact professionally with clients during sample pickups and routine field activities. • Support laboratory and field teams to meet turnaround times and client commitments.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a related technical field preferred. • Prior experience in field services, environmental sampling, logistics, delivery services, or a related operational role. • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods in varying weather conditions and terrain. • Willingness and ability to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions, lift up to 70 lb, and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and driving.
