About the Role
• Check schedule and enter time daily; manage emails • Daily coordination with supervisor; efficiently manage time • Upload/download data; properly file project data • Process field data; draft improvements & utilities; process surfaces & create contours • Ensure materials are stocked; record clear and complete field notes; take site photos • Conduct boundary and records research; perform boundary retracement; collect and adjust OPUS data • Adhere to ALTA standards; conduct topography/mapping; perform FEMA research and analysis • Resolve problems; maintain client relations; provide training to staff

What You Bring
As a Project Survey Technician, you will prepare, conduct, and reduce field surveys to support topographic and engineering design surveys, ALTA/NSPS title surveys, land survey plats, subdivisions, and legal descriptions. The role requires proficiency with GPS, conventional instruments, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD with Carlson, as well as management of geodesy, coordinate system adjustments, and database programs. Strong verbal and electronic communication with clients and subcontractors is essential, and utility designation and drone‑pilot skills are advantageous. • 5+ years of field surveying experience • LSI or PLS certification (preferred but not required) • Proficiency in general computer skills and Microsoft Office • Expertise in AutoCAD with Carlson software • Ability to adopt company drafting standards and systems • Willing to travel frequently within a day’s distance from the home office, with flexibility for extended and frequent overnight stays as needed

Pearce is committed to fair and transparent pay practices; the base salary range for this position is $35–$60 USD, with compensation influenced by skill set, experience, and location.
