Job Highlights
About the Role
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Operate the truck safely along assigned routes, following route sheets and maps. • Load, compact, and unload waste using manual or automatic controls per safety policies. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service. • Perform minor container repairs on site or in the container yard. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and clean accidental spills safely. • Keep the vehicle operationally ready, cleaning waste from containers each trip. • Complete route, productivity sheets, VCRs and other required reports. • Meet departmental productivity standards while adhering to safety policies. • Participate actively in the ReSOP safety program. • Deliver professional customer service with honesty and cooperation. • Manage time efficiently to complete responsibilities safely. • Follow work schedules and persist through challenges. • Observe company policies, prioritize safety and avoid unnecessary risks. • Utilize health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in Employee and Family Assistance Program. • Take part in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What You Bring
A Driver – CDL (A) safely operates a heavy commercial truck, tractor‑trailer or straight truck with a pup trailer, delivering and removing large containers. The driver ensures the vehicle meets company safety standards, follows all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. • Possess at least two years of commercial truck driving experience (preferred). • Show mechanical aptitude for minor container repairs. • Hold a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement.
