About the Role

Key duties include finishing drywall to commercial standards through taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing; preparing surfaces for paint; repairing and touching up work to meet inspection criteria; reading basic blueprints and specifications; maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas; and coordinating with foremen, superintendents, and other trades while adhering to all safety requirements. • Tape, mud, sand, and texture drywall to commercial standards. • Prepare surfaces for painting and final finishes. • Repair and touch‑up drywall to meet inspection requirements. • Read and follow basic blueprints and finish specifications. • Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines. • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. • Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades on site. • Follow all jobsite safety protocols and company standards. • Produce consistent, high‑quality finishes with minimal supervision.

What You Bring

The company is hiring an experienced Commercial Drywall Finisher to support ongoing commercial construction projects. This hands‑on, production‑focused role is responsible for delivering high‑quality drywall finishes on large‑scale jobs and works approximately 90% night shifts, Sunday through Thursday, to meet active jobsite demands. Candidates should have at least three years of commercial drywall finishing experience, strong knowledge of finishing techniques and materials, and a proven ability to produce consistent, high‑quality results with minimal supervision. Experience on large retail, medical, educational, or office projects, physical stamina for lifting and repetitive tasks, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a strong work ethic are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience on active, multi‑trade commercial job sites, the ability to keep pace with production schedules without sacrificing quality, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, though the latter is not required. • Minimum 3 years commercial drywall finishing experience. • Experience on large retail, medical, educational, or office projects. • Physical ability to lift materials, stand long periods, and perform repetitive work. • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and accountability. • Preferred: multi‑trade jobsite experience and bilingual (English/Spanish).
