About the Role
In this role you will develop expertise in power system studies such as short‑circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, voltage drop, and harmonics, as well as digital relay protection, equipment assessments, and power quality analyses. Continuous skill expansion ensures that solutions are technically sound and meet national regulatory standards. Engineers work closely with project management to ensure work satisfies specifications, customer needs, timeline, and budget. Most projects are office‑based, but some require onsite data collection, which involves travel and strict adherence to company safety policies. You will build and maintain relationships with key internal and external customers, becoming a trusted advisor to facilitate effective partnerships and drive incremental business. • Execute projects or lead project execution. • Maintain technical and commercial proficiency of consulting services. • Build and sustain relationships with internal and external key customers.

What You Bring
Schneider Electric Consulting Services is seeking a qualified Power System Engineer to lead and execute power system engineering studies for clients nationwide. Estimated travel for this position is 25% of the time. • Hold a BSEE and at least five years of power‑systems experience. • Expertise in power system analysis (short‑circuit, coordination, arc flash) and software such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and quickly gain client trust. • Travel up to 25% of the time for onsite data collection.

Benefits
For this U.S.-based full‑time position, the compensation range is $96,000‑$144,000 per year, including base pay and short‑term incentive. Pay is determined by performance, knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education.
