About the Role
The Head of Reward will design, develop, communicate and deliver an effective Total Reward Strategy that supports Taylor Wimpey’s strategic agenda and helps attract, retain and motivate exceptional talent. Internal applicants should inform their line manager if they wish to apply for this role. • Lead and develop a team of four direct reports: Reward & Pensions Manager, Reward Manager, Benefits Manager and Reward Advisor. • Manage the RemCo cycles, preparing papers, setting agendas, attending meetings and delivering outcomes. • Prepare the Directors Remuneration Report. • Collaborate with the Group Finance Director and Chair of the Trustees to deliver the pensions strategy and manage the function strategically and operationally. • Drive the organisation's reward policy review process in line with best practice. • Develop and embed operational plans to utilise digital capabilities and ensure reward engagement across the organisation. • Ensure policies and practices proactively drive retention, focusing on key job roles, skills and employees critical to the company strategy. • Provide consultancy advice to business‑facing HR teams and the Executive Leadership Team. • Manage the delivery of the annual performance and reward cycle. • Maintain a robust framework for regulatory and operational compliance for Reward. • Manage communication processes for all reward interventions across the business. • Maintain industry‑specific reward knowledge to develop strategies, operational plans and keep stakeholders informed of trends. • Deliver RemCo processes, remuneration policy reviews and external shareholder communications, including preparation of Directors Remuneration Report.

What You Bring
Candidates must be financially literate and able to operate at Board and Group Executive level, with senior experience in the reward function of a UK listed business, including RemCo processes, DB pension scheme management and delivery of remuneration policy reviews.
