About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the community, ensuring that all service requests are addressed promptly and that the property remains in excellent condition. Your technical expertise and HVAC certification will support daily operations and uphold Hawthorne’s quality standards. Work hours follow a standard Monday‑through‑Friday schedule, with occasional after‑hours duties to address emergencies and resident events. • Handle work orders independently and ensure completion to Hawthorne standards • Perform timely diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance of building systems • Restore vacant apartments to ready status for new move‑ins • Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning tasks • Conduct daily building and common‑area upkeep, including litter, debris, and pet‑waste removal • Maintain an organized shop to facilitate quick inventory assessment • Promote professional relations with residents, coworkers, and vendors, embodying the "Live It" culture • Participate in scheduled on‑call emergency rotation for after‑hours incidents • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies in all tasks
