About the Role
BLUvera is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee and enhance quality systems for medium to large projects. The role leads quality initiatives, documents processes, monitors performance, and analyzes results, while implementing corrective and preventative actions for continuous improvement. • Lead Mortenson’s quality system on medium to large projects • Develop and implement Quality Management Plan from start to finish • Establish and lead quality control initiatives and corrective actions • Review project plans for quality requirements before construction • Manage Quality Events, punch list, and Non‑Conformance Notices • Oversee third‑party design and testing agencies • Coach and mentor Field and Project Engineers • Train others on Kaizen event roles and visual management • Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

What You Bring

Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field • Minimum three years’ experience in design, engineering, or construction with leadership of a project’s quality system • Strong attention to detail to organize and manage multiple project tasks • Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Primavera Unifier • Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies • Knowledge of quality systems such as Malcolm Baldridge, ISO 9000, Lean, Kaizen, Army Corps of Engineers, Mortenson’s Quality System, continuous improvement, value streams, etc. • Active listening and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedback • Ability to travel up to 75% • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and affirmative action plans • Experience with issue management and inspection of work • Completed training in basic project management and supervision • Current driver’s license

Benefits
The base pay range for this role is $100,100 – $150,200, with higher ranges for Denver, CO and Chicago, IL (+5%), Seattle, WA and Portland, OR (+10%), and Washington, D.C. (+12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
