About the Role
The QTL is responsible for maintaining unit quality and productivity standards by inspecting assembly and installation of components such as EVAP coils, compressors, bases, filter racks, blowers, condensers, and control boards. They train team members on accurate and speedy sub‑assembly procedures, keep schedules and documentation current, and coordinate production time to meet targets. Additionally, the QTL verifies work order packets, ensures part availability, approves sub‑assembly and end‑of‑line paperwork, and enforces safety and housekeeping protocols. Leadership duties include completing AAON’s QTL program, motivating employees, providing problem‑solving support, and building strong team relationships. The role requires flexible collaboration across multiple teams, reliable attendance, and the willingness to work variable schedules and overtime as needed. All activities must comply with company policies and procedures. • Ensure unit quality and productivity standards are met. • Verify proper assembly and installation of components such as EVAP coils, compressors, bases, filter racks, blowers, condensers, and control boards. • Train team members on accurate, efficient sub‑assembly procedures. • Maintain up‑to‑date schedules and assembly/quality documentation. • Schedule production time to achieve targets and verify work order packets. • Confirm availability of required parts, including sensors, valves, motors, and filters. • Approve paperwork for sub‑assemblies and end‑of‑line checks; ensure all sign‑offs are completed. • Enforce warehouse safety and housekeeping standards. • Inspect blueprints and assembly drawings; communicate effectively with management. • Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and provide production backup support as needed. • Complete AAON’s Quality Team Leader (QTL) program and lead team members. • Provide problem‑solving assistance and build strong relationships with employees. • Maintain satisfactory attendance; work variable schedules and overtime as assigned.

What You Bring
Candidates must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus. The position demands the ability to stand for most of the shift, lift 25‑50 lb, operate heavy equipment, perform repetitive hand motions, and work in various positions, tight spaces, and extreme temperatures. Strong written and spoken English communication skills and the ability to assess work accuracy are essential. • Meet physical demands: stand 95% of the time, lift 25‑50 lb, operate tools, work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and handle extreme temperatures. • Possess a high school diploma (18 +); additional education is advantageous. • Demonstrate strong written and spoken English communication skills and ability to assess work accuracy.
