About the Role
The Sales Representative Africa reports to the Business Unit Director – AMEA and is charged with driving commercial growth of ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation solutions across Africa within the Marine and Industrial segments. The position focuses on project sales, key‑account development and channel management, partnering with owners, EPCs, shipyards, contractors and local agents to position ProRox and SeaRox solutions. The role covers the entire African continent without geographic restriction. The representative adopts an opportunity‑driven approach, proactively identifying, qualifying and developing projects wherever commercial potential exists, and ensures early engagement on strategic initiatives. • Execute regional sales strategy for Marine & Industry segments in Africa. • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities and major projects, engaging early at FEED/design phase. • Build and maintain relationships with owners, operators, EPC contractors, shipyards, insulation contractors, dealers and distributors. • Produce weekly sales forecasts, reports and budgets; present volume forecasts to internal stakeholders. • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing specific insulation requirements. • Lead commercial discussions for large projects, coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient product and service delivery. • Negotiate commercial offers, pricing and discount structures within the Customer Service department. • Develop, manage and support distributors and agents across Africa, assisting with pricing strategy, supply‑chain management and market development. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to inform business strategies and product development.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold an engineering or business‑related degree (preferred) and possess at least five years of project‑sales experience in industrial or marine sectors, preferably in a technical B2B and multi‑country environment. Fluency in English is required; French is strongly preferred and Arabic an advantage. The role demands high ownership, results‑driven mindset, resilience, cultural adaptability and willingness to travel up to 50%. • Minimum 5 years experience in project sales within industrial/marine sectors, technical B2B environment, and export/multi‑country projects. • Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to work independently in remote markets. • High ownership and accountability, results‑driven attitude, resilience and persistence. • Fluent English required; French strongly preferred; Arabic a plus. • Willingness to travel up to 50% across African markets.
