HVAC QA/QC Source Inspector (Mechanical)

About the Role

• Perform source inspections and quality control checks at supplier/manufacturer locations to confirm conformity before dispatch. • Conduct detailed assessments to verify condition, workmanship, functionality, and safety against approved specifications, drawings, codes, regulatory standards, and project/owner requirements. • Provide inspection coverage across the manufacturing lifecycle, including pre‑production readiness, materials and documentation review. • Carry out in‑process/in‑line inspections such as witness points, hold points, and production surveillance. • Execute final inspections, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and performance verification. • Perform pre‑shipment inspections covering packing, preservation, marking, and documentation completeness. • Identify non‑conformities, raise NCRs, and follow through on corrective actions. • Maintain accurate inspection records, compile clear reports, and ensure documentation is complete and traceable. • Monitor supplier compliance with approved ITP/QCP and support continuous improvement with vendors and project teams.

What You Bring

We are looking for an experienced Source Inspection & Quality Control professional to perform inspection, verification, and quality surveillance of products and assemblies at supplier or manufacturer premises before shipment to the project site. The role requires a strong background in HVAC manufacturing inspections, including pre‑production, in‑process, final, FAT and pre‑shipment inspections, as well as a solid understanding of quality assurance principles for mechanical equipment. The position is full‑time and remote based in India, with project‑related travel as needed. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
