About the Role

In this position, you will review contracts for legal, risk, tax, and accounting issues, propose alternative language, and lead negotiation teams to establish business terms. You will also monitor prime contract compliance, advise program managers on scope and financial matters, and support the preparation of equitable adjustments, claims, and proposal contract volumes. Collaboration across functional lines ensures accurate project monitoring and timely resolution of contractual problems. • Review client contracts for legal, risk, tax, and accounting issues. • Propose alternative language and clauses to align contracts with company policy. • Lead negotiation teams with business development and project management personnel. • Monitor and administer prime contract provisions to ensure compliance. • Advise program managers on scope, financial, and risk aspects of contracts. • Resolve significant prime contract problems proactively. • Prepare and support Requests for Equitable Adjustments and Claims. • Draft and submit contract sections of proposals, including terms and assumptions. • Negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, joint ventures, and other contractual documents. • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to provide business information for project monitoring. • Price change orders and secure contractual coverage. • Communicate with clients for approvals, interpretations, cost limitations, and acceptance documents. • Collaborate with procurement on subcontract matters and monitor expenditures versus contract limits. • Provide regular reporting on contract issues to senior management. • Travel locally within the DC metro area for occasional meetings.

What You Bring

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Contract Administrator to join its corporate team. The role involves interfacing directly with Government Contracting Officers and may require occasional travel to client sites in the DC metropolitan area. The incumbent will act as a key liaison between the company and its federal and intelligence community clients. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and brings at least five years of contract administration experience on classified Intelligence Community contracts. An active TS/SCI clearance, deep knowledge of FAR/DFAR and related supplements, and strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Proficiency with contract administration software such as Costpoint and the ability to work in secure environments are also required. Desired qualifications include experience supporting security missions, familiarity with intelligence community operations, and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines. Candidates with prior government employment (e.g., CIA, NRO, NSA), CPCM or CFCM certification, and residency in the VA, DC, or MD market are preferred. Understanding of export regulations, international contracting principles, and basic program management adds further value. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. • Minimum 5 years contract administration experience on classified Intelligence Community contracts. • Active TS/SCI clearance. • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR, contract negotiation, and management for prime federal and commercial subcontracts. • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency with contract administration software, including Costpoint. • Ability to handle classified information and work in secure environments. • Experience supporting security missions or intelligence community projects. • Ability to multitask and meet tight coordination deadlines. • Familiarity with government licensing requirements at state and local levels. • Prior government employee experience (e.g., CIA, NRO, NSA) preferred. • Knowledge of proposal review, export regulations, and international contracting compliance. • CPCM or CFCM certification desirable. • Residence in VA, DC, or MD market. • Some program management experience.
