About the Role

The Material Handler will move material throughout the distribution center via receiving, re‑stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to enable the site to process customer orders. In this role you will retrieve appropriate styles and quantities of material from warehouse locations using the designated picking process, place materials in containers, visually inspect products, and verify counts with scanning equipment as needed. You will also restock and replenish inventory, unload and stage pallets in the receiving area, and generate move tickets from packing slips to break down, sort, and verify material before returning it to the proper locations. After picking, you will inspect items, scan them, and place them in shipping cartons with suitable packing material to minimize damage, then apply packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels. You will resolve any discrepancies by researching solutions to ensure order accuracy. • Retrieve, inspect, and verify material quantities using picking processes and scanning equipment. • Restock and replenish inventory, unloading pallets and staging them in receiving areas. • Generate move tickets, sort styles, and place items in shipping cartons with appropriate packing materials and labels. • Resolve discrepancies by researching solutions to ensure order accuracy. • Follow safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform tasks of equal or lower classification when needed. • Operate stand‑up or sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, or reach trucks (minimum 6 months experience).

What You Bring

The position requires at least six months of experience operating a stand‑up or sit‑down forklift, cherry picker, or reach truck, a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Dallas, TX (active‑duty military are exempt). Success criteria include good judgment with a safety focus, the ability to work mandatory overtime—including weekends—and willingness to cross‑train or flex to different areas or plants. You must be able to lift 50 lb and stand for extended periods, demonstrate professional attitude, communication, interpersonal skills, and a continuous improvement mindset. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of warehouse/distribution experience. • Lift up to 50 lb, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive bending, lifting, and squatting. • Demonstrate professional communication, continuous improvement mindset, and good judgment with material handling.
