About the Role

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property. • Maintain regular daily onsite attendance. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up. • Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in. • Assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover processes. • Track prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to boost traffic, improve closing ratios, and meet/exceed leasing goals. • Perform various administrative tasks as needed. • Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Contribute to the upkeep and cleaning of the office, common areas, and model unit. • Assist in executing the annual marketing plan and outreach activities. • Conduct market surveys and analyses; produce weekly market reports. • Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions. • Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service‑request turnaround times. • Ensure consistent resident interactions and enforce delegated community policies.

What You Bring

Education/experience requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform all on‑site software functions. Candidates must possess a basic understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical requirements involve regular movement around the worksite, climbing ladders or stairs, and lifting or moving objects up to 25 lb. Employees must be able to work overtime, weekends, night hours, and in varied environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures, precipitation, and confined spaces.
