About the Role

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing staff and activities related to the efficient maintenance of equipment. This role ensures equipment remains safe, clean, and mechanically sound while maximizing utilization and minimizing cost. • Maintain safe, clean, and well‑conditioned equipment with maximum utilization at minimal cost. • Ensure equipment compliance with local, state, federal, and WM requirements. • Plan, budget, staff, discipline, and implement all maintenance initiatives and programs. • Promote a safe work environment in line with corporate and OSHA standards. • Ensure timely and safe repair of equipment and return to service. • Follow company policies and procedures. • Plan, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance activities. • Optimize staffing & overtime ratios, PMI scheduling, Warranty Claims Systems, spare equipment ratio, and parts/inventory management. • Hire, train, supervise, reward, and discipline maintenance staff per policy. • Evaluate and monitor the maintenance budget. • Provide input for capital expenditures and improvements. • Maintain accurate meter readings, maintenance activities, parts inventory, labor costs, work orders, licenses, and warranties. • Generate and disseminate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
