What You Bring
An experienced Welding Supervisor is needed at the Maryborough site to contribute to the implementation, monitoring and improvement of welding activities for passenger rolling‑stock train sets. The successful candidate will be a qualified welding professional with a strong background in manufacturing and demonstrated leadership skills, ready to oversee welding processes and ensure high‑quality outcomes. • Hold IWS (International Welding Specialist) or equivalent qualification. • Possess Welding Supervisor Certificate IAW AS 2214, AS 1796 Cert 10. • Preferred: IWT (International Welding Technologist) or IWE (International Welding Engineer). • Minimum five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. • Experience in rail bogie and carbody manufacturing and welding is an advantage. • Demonstrated team‑leadership or supervision experience. • Experience with robotic resistance and MIG welding systems is a plus.
