About the Role
We are hiring a Proposal Specialist III to lead water‑business line proposals, collaborating with the West marketing team, business operations and support staff. The role involves guiding large proposals and presentations from pre‑RFP positioning through the interview stage, while ensuring compliance and creativity. The position offers a hybrid schedule and is based in Los Angeles or Orange, California. • Lead proposals and presentations from pre‑RFP positioning through interview stage. • Conduct go/no‑go and green‑light analyses and capture planning. • Coordinate with technical and business development staff to develop submittals and win contracts. • Provide leadership to pursuit teams on schedule, templates, compliance, content planning, messaging and production. • Serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past‑performance sections. • Ensure document design follows RFP instructions and brand guidelines. • Facilitate pink and red team reviews, incorporate lessons learned, and manage revisions.

What You Bring
• Minimum: BA/BS plus 4 years managing design proposals for facility design‑bid‑build or design‑build pursuits. • Demonstrated expertise in proposal strategy, compliance, writing and production. • Preferred: knowledge of A/E industry, marketing best practices, InDesign, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, collaborative tools (Teams, SharePoint), and Salesforce. • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects, produce accurate compliant work independently and collaboratively. • Excellent writing, organizational, and administrative skills; ability to lead deliverable efforts and manage documents.
