About the Role
The role involves achieving sales goals for ERICO and ILSCO commercial electrical products by maintaining existing accounts and converting new business, leveraging a broad product portfolio and a project‑solution approach. The manager will develop a multi‑year sales strategy, identify new customers, key projects and channel partners, and execute tactical plans to grow market share across the specified territory. Leadership duties include coaching and developing a high‑performing third‑party agent sales team, ensuring alignment on territory strategy, pricing, joint calls and business development, while fostering accountability and teamwork. The position requires building strong relationships with key customers, distributors and industry stakeholders, acting as a customer advocate, sharing market insights and representing nVent at industry events. Providing product expertise through training, technical presentations and on‑site support, influencing end‑user specifications and promoting the technical advantages of ERICO and ILSCO solutions are central expectations. The manager will support agents with quotes and proposals for lightning protection, grounding, surge protection and other product lines, manage pricing and KPIs to ensure profitability, and analyze sales data for trends and improvements. What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field, have at least five years of outside or territory sales experience in the commercial/industrial electrical space, and be able to travel up to 60 % of the time across WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, AK, CA, NV, AZ and WY. Additional qualifications include a valid driver’s license, technical‑sales and value‑based selling skills, strong organizational abilities, proficiency with CRM and sales analytics platforms, and the physical ability to work on construction sites. • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field and 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical sales experience. • Travel up to 60 % of the time across the assigned territory and hold a valid driver’s license. • Demonstrate technical‑sales, value‑based selling, strong organizational skills and proficiency with sales analytics tools.
