About the Role

The Assistant Leasing & Marketing Manager reports to the General Manager and assists with day‑to‑day property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and proper physical condition. The role supports leasing activities to maintain high occupancy, manages license renewals, oversees the check‑out process, and prepares weekly performance reports. It also contributes to advertising, marketing, and resident retention initiatives while maintaining courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors. • Assist with leasing to maintain high occupancy, including renewal offers and availability tracking. • Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager. • Manage property licenses and renewals in coordination with legal counsel and city officials. • Oversee check‑out process, accept keys, and inspect vacated units for compliance. • Ensure accurate and efficient lease sign‑ups and resident check‑ins. • Respond promptly to resident concerns and complaints, reporting to the General Manager. • Prepare weekly performance reports for the property. • Help develop and implement advertising, marketing, and resident retention programs. • Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors. • Answer phones and perform general administrative tasks such as filing and typing.

What You Bring

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain), and preferably a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance. Strong computer skills—including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and preferably Entrata—are required, along with accurate typing, record‑keeping, numerical analysis, and knowledge of federal, state, and local housing laws. A positive, professional attitude, excellent customer service, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast‑paced environment are essential. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain. • Valid driver’s license; automobile insurance preferred. • Proficiency with office equipment and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Entrata preferred. • Strong typing, record‑keeping, numerical analysis, and document‑preparation skills. • Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing laws. • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast‑paced environment and follow procedural deadlines.
